1986~1989 : Foundation period
  • 1986 May Established Techno Trading Company
  • 1989 Feb Techno Trade Co., Ltd. incorporated
1990~1995 : Quickening period (manufacturing advanced materials began)
  • 1991 Jan Became affiliated with Yamanake Hutech
  • 1992 Apr Completed Gongju Plant
  • 1992 May Yamanake Korea Co., Ltd. was established and the manufacture of CVD and Dopant for semiconductors began
  • 1994 Sep Established the company’s Research Center
  • 1994 Nov Established FECT Co., Ltd.
1996~1999: Period of growth (achieving 10 billion Won of sales and entering into LCD materials industries)
  • 1996 Dec Achieved ISO9002 Quality System certification
  • 1996 Dec Achieved annual sales of 10 billion Won
  • 1997 Jun Yamanake Korea was renamed to K.Y.Hutech Co., Ltd.
  • 1997 Sep Established EFTEC, Inc., as an American corporation
  • 1998 Apr Built a plant to manufacture Mixed Acid Etchant (MAE) for wafers and etchants for LCD
  • 1998 Oct ISO14001 Achieved Environmentally Friendly Management System certification
  • 1998 Nov Awarded for the achievement of exports of 10 billion won
  • 1999 Oct Renamed Techno Trade to Techno Semichem Co., Ltd.
  • 1998 Oct Awarded as a venture company by the Special Committee for SMEs
2000~2009: Growth period (developed into a strong materials provider based on the development of frontier industries such as semiconductors and display)
  • 2000 Jan Registered in KOSDAQ
  • 2000 Jul Merged with and acquired K.Y.Hutech Co., Ltd.
  • 2000 Aug Acquired the new materials business of LSIS Co., Ltd.
  • 2001 Jun Awarded with a technology grand prize as a business based in Choongcheongnam-do
  • 2002 Jun Completed CMP Slurry plant
  • 2002 Nov Completed a plant for secondary cell electrolytes
  • 2002 Nov Established the central research center

  • 2010 Jan Acquired a plant in Ulsan
